In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He [Jesus Christ -Yeshua] was in the beginning with God.

THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF GOD

If you ask someone to describe the Holy Bible, a characteristic response might be that it contains scripture relevant to the Christian or Judeo-Christian religion. Many people view Christianity as just one of many religions that leads to eternal paradise with God after bodily death. A growing consensus in the world is that there are many faiths by which to worship God or other gods and obtain eternal life. This could not be further from the truth. There is only one God, the Almighty; He is the creator of all things. Almighty God has only one way of reconciling mankind to Him. This one way is through His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Accepting Him through faith and repentance is the only way to salvation.

God chose the Jewish people to be His special people through whose seed reconciliation would come to both Jew and Gentile. Christ, born unto us through Jewish lineage, would pay the ultimate price for our sins to reconcile us unto Himself and His Father, God Almighty. The Holy Bible is God describing how He has strived with man while bringing to fruition His plan for forgiveness and reconciliation. Because God is just, righteousness brings blessing while unrighteousness without repentance brings judgment. In the Old Testament, before the birth of Christ, God provided a means of atonement for sin through a temporary animal sacrifice that had to be repeated each year. In the New Testament, God Himself came to our world in the flesh as Emmanuel meaning, “God with us”. This is Christ, the Messiah, who became the final sacrifice and atonement for our sins. This is the very essence of a loving and merciful God.

God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are one in the same; one God with three personalities. We have a choice to either accept Christ’s forgiveness through faith and repentance or reject Him and be lost in eternity without God. We are living in the dispensation of the church age, the age of grace. Very soon, this age of opportunity to accept Christ will end. Jesus clearly states, “I am the Beginning and the End, who is, who was, and who is to come, the Almighty. I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to my Father except through Me”.
